USB Hardware Test and Validation

Task:

Validation of signal compliance of several USB hardware interfaces for medical technology

Content:

The project consisted of diverse testing tasks:
  • Hardware review and design recommendations
  • Analysis and verification of signal integrity
  • Measuring and verification of characteristic impedance (time domain reflectometry) and typical impedance of 90 Ω

Result:

For the identified problems, recommended solutions were compiled and successfully implemented in new hardware.
